ResQVision’s November 2024 website announcement described plans for a Bondi Beach trial. The early ambition remains part of the company’s story.

Coastal operating context on an Australian beach.

Why a beach camera was the starting point.

A beach camera already observes a useful scene. The early ResQVision idea was to add analysis of people and water activity, so relevant observations could reach the team responsible for review.

This archive retains the date and subject of the original company announcement. It records the plans communicated at that time. It does not report verified Bondi deployment results or current patrol coverage.

The questions that still matter.

Can the view show the person or event clearly? What happens in glare, swell or low light? Who receives the observation, and what can they do with it? These questions connect camera capability with an actual operating service.

The camera suitability guide explains the input. The coastal safety page explains the receiving workflow.

Follow the development of the work.

The October 2024 media archive provides contemporary context for the early trial plans. For later technology delivery and public operating examples, read the SAIL case study.
