The work began with coastal safety at Bondi. Today it includes people and vessel tracking, water-entry events, surface-flow analysis and wider sensor feeds.
Built around the operator
For SAIL, we collected footage through controlled water-entry tests with SLSNSW personnel and jet skis. The sessions supported model refinement and gave the customer a chance to assess the detection and tracking workflow directly.
Time in the State Operations Centre showed us the calls, weather checks, documentation and emergency-service coordination around an alert. That experience shapes how we develop the product and support the people using it. Read the field-testing and delivery story.

Alex brings lifesaving experience into customer conversations and product development. He builds relationships with operators, customers and channel partners, represents ResQVision at industry events, and contributes to field data collection and annotation.
Bryan Pakulski · AI research and model development
Bryan leads AI research and model development, testing approaches from academic research and combining them into models for coastal and maritime tasks. He mentors the engineering team and supports model development and customer delivery.
Julian Kovacek · Platform engineering and scale
Julian leads platform engineering, including authentication, cloud infrastructure and system hardening. He helps turn research prototypes into maintainable production systems, guides engineering decisions and supports the team as deployments grow.
